Buitoni Pasta

I am one of the fortunate souls, who have crossed the great big blue divide and visited the wonderful land of Italy. Needless to say I am accustom to what authentic Italian food taste's like. With that said my husband and I tried the Buitoni Chicken Marsala Ravioli (for free thanks to BzzAgent) with my homemade tomato based sauce for dinner, I also sprinkled some parmesan and cilantro on the side, just for kicks. Overall the ravioli was pretty good, good textures and decent flavor. However not quite authentic Italian or gourmet status. I was expecting more intense flavors that would just melt in my mouth.
Other then the actual food, I do have two complaints. The first one is that Buitoni pasta is super hard to find in the grocery store. I was specifically looking for it and spent 15 mins with no avail. I finally had to ask the clerk ringing me up and it wasn't until she asked another employee that we were able to find it smashed between the cheeses and lunch meet. I think they need to move it to a more logical location. Second is the serving size is way off. I got the 9oz pack which says it feeds 2 1/2. FALSE. It barley feed my husband. One pack is only enough for one person and fills only one plate. So if you are planing on feeding a family, pick up at least 3 or more packs. Which can get pretty expensive. Really good pasta but in my opinion not worth the cost for the amount you get. (unless you have an amazing coupon!)
